H.H. the 42nd Sakya Trizin, Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, His Holiness was born in 1974 in Dehradun as the eldest son of His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin and Dagmo Tashi Lhakee. From an early age he received intensive traditional training and is a lineage holder and head of the Sakya tradition.
His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trizin, Ratna Vajra Rinpoche was born in 1974 in Dehradun as the eldest son of His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trichen and Dagmo Tashi Lhakee. As a young child he studied intensively the traditional teachings and is a lineage holder of the Sakya Tradition. He is known for his brilliant and clear teachings and his perfect English. He did many retreats.
The Sakya Centres in Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada are visited regularly by him. Since 2002 he is married and lives with wife and three children in Rajpur.
