General terms and conditions

1 Upon acceptance of your application and payment, the terms and conditions of this agreement shall be binding between the organizer (Sakya Jetsun Foundation eV) and you (the registrant).

For certain events where there are restrictions on the number of participants, enrolment is accepted up to the number allowed, based on the chronological order of receipt of the date of payment by the registrants. 

Your ticket(s) will be issued at the center by showing your receipt. For each day of the event, the ticket(s) must be presented at the entrance on site.

2 Request for cushion or chair will be accommodated on a best effort basis, depending on availability. The organizer cannot guarantee that your request will definitely be met.

3 Once the tickets are purchased, they are generally not exchangeable or refundable subject to the conditions stated herein.

4 In case of postponement of the event, the ticket(s) automatically becomes valid for the postponed date. Tickets are not refundable or exchangeable.

5 If the event is cancelled on or after the scheduled start date, there will be no refund, not even on a pro-rata basis, unless the termination was caused by the willful act or gross negligence of the organizer.

6 In case the event has to be cancelled prior to the start date of the event for reasons beyond the control of the organizer, a refund minus a contribution about 20% (*) of ticket price will be made under the following condition: The participant will apply for the refund within 30 days after the announcement of cancellation by submitting a refund application with a copy of the remittance slip to the organizer.

7 The organizer will announce any postponement or cancellation on its website (www.sakya-foundation.de ). It is the participant’s responsibility to check the website for updates prior to the event for any changes or updates.

8 The organizer reserves the right to modify the program without notice, as deemed necessary. The organizer will announce changes of the program on its website ( www.sakya-foundation.de ) or onsite at the event.

9 The registration information including addresses and other personal data will be stored and processed electronically only for use of the organizer. The registrant may recall his/her personal data stored with the organizer and can request for deletion.

10 The invalidity or unenforceability of any provisions of the terms shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other parts of the terms and conditions stated, which shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by another provision which most closely achieves the legal purpose of the original provision.

11 This agreement between the organizer and the registrant shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Germany. The jurisdiction for all disputes shall be Frankfurt, Germany.

 (*) The organizer "Sakya Jetsun Foundation eV" is a non-profit organization. The organizer does not have the financial resources to cover any costs already incurred in case of cancellation.
