He has been to our center many times (e.g. 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2019) to teach his students who travel from all over the world. Our Sakya Kalden Ling center was gifted to his mother and him by our generous sponsors. The association Jetsün Sakya Foundation e.V. manages it.
H. E. Luding Khen Rinpoche is the current abbot of Ngor Ewam Chodan Monastery (Ngor Monastery) and the Sakya Institute for Vajrayana (Sakya Institute).
Luding Khenpo is a member of the royal Khon family of the Sakya tradition and the second son of Her Eminence Jetsun Kushok Chimey Luding, the sister of His Holiness the Sakya Trizin.
Luding Khenpo was selected and trained as the successor to the future abbot of the Ngor sub-sect of the Sakya tradition and began his monastic training with His Eminence Luding Khenchen Rinpoche (Khenchen Rinpoche) at the age of 10.
